About Me
Growing Up
Growing up in a family full of health care professionals, I have always been surrounded by the mindset and the ideas that are involved in healthcare. My mother is an RN and so is my grandmother. My sister is an x-ray technician and my father was an EMT tech. Since I was a little kid my mom has continuously quizzed me on medical terminology and ideas from the healthcare field. From this I believe I was born with a passion to help others from just how my family is.
My turning point
Since I was a little kid I had always enjoyed working with my hands, whether that means with legos or building different things. From this I went to a trade school for my last two years of highschool. There I studied Automation and Robotics with the hopes to become an Electrical Engineer. My turning point was my junior year of high school where I broke both my radius and my ulna in my left arm. There led to surgey and many months of recovery. During these months of recovery, I had to do Physicial Therapy to recover. This is where I discovered my passion for this field and completely changed the course of my entire life by pursuing a B.S in Exercise Science from IUPUI with the intention of becoming a Physical Therapist in the futrure.
